The workshop is on Monday 17th June 2013 10am till 12 Noon and costs just £7.50. The cards were designed by Liz our in-store tutor who will be taking the workshop and sharing with you all her passion for card making, Liz holds regular monthly workshops that have proven to be very popular.
To secure a place please give the shop a ring on 01282 833 091.
Have a fab day
Good Evening to you all, hope your day has been as good as we have had at craftrange.
Today I held a workshop for some lovely ladies, most were beginners and they really enjoyed themselves. Each got their own kit to take home with them so that they could make more cards at home. The kits are fabulous from nitwits and include patterned card rubber stamps and decoupage. The colours in the kit complement each other beautifully and it is a well thought out quality kit at an exceptional price of just £4.29 especially for craftrange customers, the rrp is £9.99.
We believe at craftrange everyone should have the chance to craft and try out new hobbies, this is why we are very price conscious and keep the cost throughout the store at extremely competitive prices.
I promised the ladies that I would put photos on the blog so that they could come on here and see what other cards could be made with their kits. The samples below were all made by Liz who works in the store and also holds monthly workshops. Below are a selection of Liz’s samples and there is still plenty left in the kit to make many more cards.
Special note to all you lovely ladies that attended, hope you enjoy working with your kits and if you send me photos of your cards I would love to share what you have done on this blog. You can email me your photos to email@example.com
If anyone would like to purchase one of the kits just give us a ring on 01282 833 091

This machine is very similar to the older version. It has the same sleek design and works in the same way as the older model, however – it is more durable with its stronger outer casing and metal handle. It has an easy carrying handle making it very portable. The opening is six inches and works well with almost any die and embossing folders.
This weekend Saturday and Sunday 16th / 17th April, Gillian and Liz will be in store demonstrating embossing folders that can be run through die cutting and embossing machines. Sharing hints and tips on how to get the best out of your machines.

I have the instructions for the beautiful flower card that Jane Gill made for our demonstration night, that you all loved. And just by the side of the flower is one of Jane’s own designs of rubber stamps, it is the bubble butterfly done with shrink plastic.
For the flower on Jane’s card she used three Woodware scallop circle punches, the purple, pink and blue. Here is how Jane made it….
Punch two of each (you will have six circles), edge with contrasting ink pad on both sides. Cut each circle into eighths. Hold point side up in closed tweezers and wrap widest part around tweezers using finger and thumb to curl paper. Do one piece clockwise and the next anti clockwise, repeat on all pieces and keep in size piles!
Punch six daisies (green punch) and stick shapes from each pile around daisy petals. You will now have six shapes with eight petals on each. Place one inside the other beginning with the largest. Finish the middle with three punched shapes from the Woodware swirl using brown or green paper/card. Give each of these shapes severe cup character and stick one inside each other.
If you need any of the punches etc for this project please visit our website www.craftrange.com or give us a call on 01282 833091, if you are unable to find what you need. We have hundreds of items in store that are not on our website.
