Good morning crafters,
Liz and I have been busy over the last few days with deliveries to restock but also new lines too. We love opening the boxes to see what new stock is inside, it is like Christmas morning, but then we have to make a space on the shop floor which at times can be a challenge!
So, “What is new?” I hear you say. We have the Crafters Companion range of Kimono dies, stamps and embossing folders. They are so nice and reasonably priced that customers were buying them as they were being unpacked. We also have Memento Dew Drop Ink Pad Sets with 4 colours in each set and 16 sets to choose from.
Next, we have Brilliance Dew Drop Ink Pad Sets with 4 colours per set and 8 sets to choose from.
Lastly, we have Dew Drop Ink Pad Sets again with 4 colours per set and 8 sets to choose from.
The day of the launch of our new web site is looming so, as ever, if you would like anything posting our or have any questions please ring us on 01282 833091.
Carry on crafting,
Good morning crafters,
We have had a busy week so far, with being closed three days over the Easter period I think that everyone came in on Tuesday to get their craft fix.
Yesterday we had Linda’s Cog Card Workshop and it was fully booked. As you can see, the ladies got stuck in with brayering their backgrounds using a Speedball Brayer and Splodge Mat. Crafters Companion Textures Embossing folders and the Textures Basket and Burlap stamp were also used to create the backgrounds. They used the Cut n Boss machine and Spellbinder Sprightly Sprocket dye to produce the cogs. Everyone, as ever, picked up plenty of hints and tips and were thrilled with their results.
Today we have our weekly Coffee and Craft Club, our ladies bring a wide variety of projects with them, I don’t know if they come to craft, chatter or keep Liz and I on our toes. They are good at all three!
If you can’t call into the shop to book on a workshop or make a purchase then please ring us on 01282 833091. Our web site is currently being updated, I have had a sneak preview, it is looking good. Watch this space!
Carry on crafting,
Good evening crafters,
Today was a busy day at Craftrange, not only had I to finish stocktaking our jewellery section (ready for our new web site), Liz had deliveries to put on the shop floor from Creative Expressions, Crafters Companion and Personal Impressions ( I will tell you more about the exciting new stock we have soon!) but also it was the Thursday Coffee and Craft Club all day, where the ladies certainly keep us on our toes. Never a dull moment!
Of course, there were customers to serve too, one of which was Millie Moss, Millie has attended the Lindsay Mason workshops that we hold here at Craftrange and she returned home inspired to make this beautiful birthday gift for her friend.
She has used Maya Gold paints, Inka Gold waxes and the layered dragonfly by Tim Holtz. Wouldn’t you like a friend like Millie?
If you are interested in any workshops or products please ring the store on 01282 833091. Our web site is currently being updated so if you would like anything posting out please ring the same number.

My name is Carla and I am Gillian’s cousin from Canada. I am visiting and I have gotten to do some experimenting, making faux leather. Today I spent all day at the Coffee and Craft Club at Craftrange. It was great! What a nice bunch of ladies who welcomed me into the group.
I got started with Crafters Companion Kraft Card and sprayed it with glycerine and water and scrunched it up several times then ran it through the ebosser
, after letting it dry thoroughly I took 3 colours of Distress Ink Pads
and brushed them across the embossed card until I was happy with the look; sprayed it with Crafters Companion Spray and Shine;
prepared a lining out of fabric and glued it in using Cosmic Shimmer glu
e. While that was drying, I prepared 3 signatures of paper to sew into my Faux Leather Booklet.
I decided to stamp a border stamp on some of the signature pages. To finish it up I will punch holes in the faux leather and the signatures and sew them together.
Meanwhile, my cousin Gillian was definitely not lazing around. She and her co- workers were busy preparing for the Craft Event this Saturday. Also Gillian made a sign for the new Chalk Paint
that they have in store and is being demonstrated by Mark Gould on Saturday. I hear the stuff is all the rage!
After the staffs hectic day Gillian and I came home and I had a welcome LARGE cup of English Tea!
Tomorrow I will post pictures of my finished Faux Leather booklet.
I am really looking forward to the demonstrations on Saturday, it is such a great opportunity to see the possibilities of all the wonderful products!
See you then!
I wanted to share with you some of the creations that can be made with the Crafters Companion Embossing Boards. If you read one of our previous post on the blog it was about Craftrange demonstrating one of the boards, so I thought it would be nice to see what you can create.
We have the Ulti-Bags and Ulti-Boxes Embossing Boards in stock as well as the Crafters Companion Envelobox Creator,The Enveloper Pro,Top Score and The Boxer all at very competitive prices.
Be Creative !
