Good Morning Crafters,
Last Wednesday we held our second Friendly Plastic Workshop, we all had a wonderful time. Some of the ladies were from a papercraft background and some from jewellery, they bounced ideas off each other and produced some awesome pieces.
They used both the melt pot and heat gun to soften the plastic and for the jewellers among us, we used the Cropadile to make holes for the bails to be attached to hang as pendants.
I am sure that you will agree that they produced some beautiful items.

Gilding Flakes Cards
Here are a couple of sample cards that were made on the demo day Saturday just gone. We very often hold demonstrations at weekend to show different techniques. This demo proved to be very popular. The image was stamped with duo glue and gilding flakes were used to achieve the effect shown. Any rubber stamps work with this technique, but the penny black rubber stamps that were used gave a really nice elegant finished card.
We have a good range of the penny black stamps in stock and limited quantities of the various colors of gilding flakes and duo glue that were used. It did however prove to be so popular that I am sure we will be re-stocking on these items. Just give us a call if you require any information on the products used and we can put them aside for you or post through mail order. The red card that has been used as a border on one of the cards is new in stock but flying out. The depth of colour on this amazing card stock (12″x12″) has to be seen to be fully appreciated – it’s gorgeous.
