Just to Let You Know . . . . . . . .

Good evening crafters,

Just to let you know that there are 7 people booked on the Cog Card workshop on Wednesday, with Linda Page. If you would like to come then ring us as soon as you can on Tuesday morning to book your place or you will miss out!  I was busy in store this morning making samples (it’s a hard life!), when a customer asked to see the We R Gift Bag Punch Board being demonstrated, I made a bag out of  Ken Olivers Watercolored Memories card  stock. My intention at the start of the day, was to make a sample for a cut’n’boss workshop, I thought about decorating a clip board or a box using the Die’sire Create a Card dies but I ended up making this leather look bag. I was halfway through cutting out the flowers when a customer wanted to buy the Sue Wilson Finishing Touches Classic Rose die I was using,  as we had sold out earlier, we had to sell our die before I had finished using it! The project still needs a bit more tweaking  but I think that it is looking good so far.

April / May Workshops at Craftrange

Good morning crafters,

I can’t believe that it is time for another post about new workshops but here it is! Lindsay Mason is as popular as ever, her April workshop has a waiting list and her May 9th workshop is getting full.

The NEW IndigoBlu workshops on May 16th is beginning to fill, I’m not surprised, I’m sure that they will be sooo interesting, Liz and I are hoping to be able to sneak into them (don’t tell Debbie!).

Linda’s Cog Cards are great for the man (or men) in your life, workshop on April 8th.

We have samples of some of  the April May workshops  in store, do call in to see them and book your place. A Busy Week of Workshops

Good evening crafters,

This morning saw eager ladies waiting in the foyer for the store to open, they were here to attend  the Lindsay Mason workshop. They had a wonderful time creating their designs.

The most popular products that they purchased were, of course the Maya Gold gilding wax, Inka Gold paints  and Mod Podge.  Look at their wonderful creations.

It comes as no surprise that Lindsay’s April workshop is now fully booked and there are limited spaces for her  workshop on 9th May

Tuesday, I am running a Gilding Wax workshop from 10 .30 till 12.30 for £10 including materials, there are just 3 places remaining.

Linda Page is with us again on Wednesday to run a workshop on gilding flake techniques, you will leave with 2 stunning cards. The workshop will run from 10.30 till 12.30 for £10 including materials,again, there are only 3  spaces remaining.

Thursday sees our weekly Coffee and Craft Club, there are still a few spaces remaining on both the morning (10am – 1pm) and the afternoon session  (1.15 – 4.15  ) for £4 per session  including a brew. A perfect way to meet like minded people and make new friends.

Hurricane Linda Hits Craftrange

 

Good evening crafters,

On Saturday Linda Page from Crafters Companion joined us to demonstrate the Cut n Boss  machine, Die’sire Create a Card Dies, Textures Embossing Folders and the Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers.

We were so busy, people flocked around Linda all day, drawing on her vast crafting knowledge and gathering lots of hints and tips on how to get the most out of the wonderful Crafters Companion products.

Lots of people took advantage of our special offers, the Cut n Boss at the low, low price of £189.99, FREE water colour pad and DVD if you purchased four sets of Aqua Markers and all dies at the best prices around. It was a whirl wind all day, just look at the aftermath!

Grand Craft Event – Free Demonstrations all day

Good Afternoon

I am not sure where the weekend is rushing of to ! It does not seem like two minutes ago that it was Thursday Coffee and Craft Club at craftrange.com.

Cant believe that X Factor has started again, that only means one thing – it’s a count down to Christmas hehehe, Oh I Love Christmas.

Quick update then I am of deer hunting, with camera !
Everything is well underway now for the Free Demonstration Day at http://www.craftrange.com I quite simply love these days – there so much fun and there is always a great atmosphere. We have fabulous demonstrators for you including Lynell Harlow all the way from USA (Owner/designer from Dreamweaver Stencils) her work is amazing, you will not be disappointed. We also have Maria Simms for the first time at Craftrange, you will adore Maria and her work – many will have seen Maria on Create and Craft TV. Hope you can all join us for another great Event.

Back soon, I have not forgotten to share Tim Holtz photos – I will be doing that next week, I am still on cloud9.

Brayering Workshop

Morning

Todays plans – cleaning up, walking dogs, gym !! (maybe!!) and crafting. I have brought home one of every colour (not that I am greedy) of the Metallic Gilding Wax’s. I will let you all know how I get on with them next week.

Today I am going to leave you with an up and coming workshop that we are holding at craftrange. You will learn all about Brayering with Linda who is a clarity design team member.
