Good morning crafters,
I hope that you managed to come to our Craft Event, if not you missed the best day ever! Mark Gould show cased the fantastic Chalk Paints, what wonderful effects he created.
My next project is going to be to transform a cane suite from chintz to chic for my son and his partner – watch this space, we have to choose the material first ……..
If you would like to learn more about the Chalk Paints, why not enroll onto the Bobbin Memo Board Workshop, the tutor is Molly Blooms designer Clare Rowlands who adores these paints and, as ever, adds her own style to make this adorable memo board.
The workshop is on Saturday 26th July from 10am to 4pm. For more details just give us a call on 01282833091.
Lucky me, I have got today and tomorrow off, the sun is shining, Wimbledon is on and I have some jewellery to make – pity about the housework and meals!

Carry on Crafting,
Good Morning Crafters,
I am in an enviable dilemma, every Saturday Liz and I take it in turns to do demonstrations at Craftrange.
We have the freedom to pick what we would like to demonstrate and it is my turn today.
Here is my dilemma, I had originally thought of die cutting shapes out of thick card,I would use the ebosser machine, it is lovely to use and ours is at a very competitive price at the moment. Next I could decorate them with embossing powders, (I may have to use the gorgeous Frantage kits again!) and then coating them with something to seal and make them glossy (I was thinking of using Glossy Accents). Mmmmm endless possibilities I would enjoy that.
I went into the warehouse of Michael Toms Stationers (our parent company) to find some paper balls for a customer, I have known about them for years but only today did I notice that they had holes through them. They aren’t balls they are BEADS! So, I am thinking, whatever you can do on a flat piece of paper you can do on a paper bead. The lovely colours of Alcohol Inks to give colour and embossing powders for texture.
Oh the possibilities are endless but the working day too short to do both, bearing in mind we also have a full day Molly Blooms Workshop and an 80% off sale, I have to decide What I am going to do?
What would YOU do?
Will I have time to do both?
Call in to see what I have decided.
Don’t miss the next thrilling instalment of DEMONSTRATION DILEMMA!
Don’t forget, if you have any queries, give us a ring on 01282 833091

Hello, hope you have all had a great day.
My day at work has definitely been great.
The long-awaited arrival of Molly Blooms Magazine Issue 2 has arrived in-store.
We have had a busy day packing, labelling and posting out pre-ordered magazines along with doing the same with the Ebossers (please see previous post) Numerous phone calls to let local pre-orders know they have arrived and later a busy afternoon with lots coming to collect their magazine.
The first thing I did was open my copy and looked through every single page – you wont be disappointed. Lots of inspiration, fabulous photos, the magazine guides you through all the projects and every single one of them are amazing. It’s all you would expect from Clare Rowland’s – Molly Blooms Stamp Designer and more.
Included in the magazine are papers, ribbons, buttons and a stamp set.
