Lindsay Mason’s Influence Carries On!

Good afternoon crafters,

Yesterday was another busy day at Craftrange, but Liz and I still had the time to admire the beautiful creations of Marion Mathews, who, like Millie, has been on a Lindsay Mason Workshop and gone home to create this enviable gift for her friend Barbara. The main materials for this banner and the Marine Plaque were, of course, Maya Gold paints and Inka Gold waxes they give such stunning results. The centre of the marine plaque is made using a sheet of pewter and the Spellbinder M-bossabilities Shell Beauty.

Marion also has China Painting as a hobby and this is one of her latest projects. What a talented lady.

Lindsay’s April workshop is fully booked, there are some places remaining on May 9th. As ever, if you wish to book on a workshop, have an interest in any of the products or would like something posting  to you  (our web site is currently being updated)  please ring 01282833091

Distress Stains ~ Tim Holtz

Have I played with them………..YeS

Are they ok……… NO they are not just ok they are FAB-U-LOUS, GREAT I’m in my element – supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus

Do we all need them………. YES definitely.

Tim Holtz® Distress Stains

Distress Stains are fluid water-based dyes for papers and other porous surfaces.  Use for quick and easy ink coverage for backgrounds and larger areas.  Mist with water to lighten color and create mottled effects.  Apply layers of stain to achieve more saturated color.

The brushed nylon dabber top has a built-in spring valve. This allows for controlling the release of Distress Stains from the bottle. By pressing the dabber top down onto surface, the valve opens and fluid releases. Lift dabber away from surface to stop fluid flow. Spread Distress Stains by swiping the dabber top lightly as a brush across the surface.

• Acid free, non-toxic
• Fade-resistant dyes
• Dabber top with spring valve control
